Spring Tour 2017

Craft at Bernies, First craft day event sponsored by Maps. Make a garden sign using recycled roofing slates. No cost for members. A few surprises are in store for those participating.

Scott Tree Peony Walk, Annual tour of the tree peony collection lead by our own Jeff Jabco. The focus this year is on the earlier-flowering tree peonies--Chinese and Japanese hybrids. A reception will follow. Swarthmore College, 5-6:30, April 30, 2018

Garden Tour, MAPS member Sylvia Green extended a second invitation to tour her farm and gardens near the Conowingo Reservoir in nearby Maryland. A reception will follow.

MAPS Dig & Divide, Attendees will work in pairs to dig, wash and divide peony roots.  Wear your gardening clothes to partake of this opportunity to get your hands really dirty.

  • All events are open to guests of MAPS members, and many events so noted are open to the public.  We do encourage all to join MAPS for the reasonable cost of $10 per year.  It is this membership fee that supports our educational programs.  Membership information is available on-line at the Mid-Atlantic Peony Society website.
